Woman Sues Employer for Sex Injury on Business Trip

A government employee in Australia is suing her employer because she got injured while having sex at a motel during a business trip. The woman thinks she deserves compensation because a light fixture fell on her, inflicting injuries to her face and causing mental distress, reports the Daily Telegraph.

"This is no different than slipping over in the shower," argues her attorney, who added that his client shouldn't face discrimination because "it's not the 1920s." The government, however, rejected her original claim for reimbursement, saying sex is "not an ordinary incident of an overnight stay like showering, sleeping or eating."
