An Atlantic City casino is offering frequent gamblers a chance to win a new face. Loyalty card holders who amass enough points at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City will be entered into a drawing for $25,000 in plastic surgery procedures of their choice, AP reports. "People often want this surgery but they're reluctant to spend their own money to do it," a casino exec says. "Whether it's kids' tuition, or the mortgage, or they just don't have that kind of money. This is their opportunity to get it done."

Medical professionals, however, say the promotion could set a dangerous precedent. The founder of the Westwood Institute for Anxiety Disorders in Los Angeles says she has already seen cases of compulsive gamblers who are also having excessive plastic surgery. "Definitely one thing reinforces the other," she says. "Both are addictions, and they're bad addictions." (More casino stories.)
