Kate Middleton officially confirmed it today: She's looking good little more than a month after giving birth to Prince George. She made her first official public appearance at an ultra marathon in Anglesey today, where Prince William fired the starting gun, the Daily Mail reports. Sorry, those of you hoping for a glimpse of the royal babe; he wasn't there, but the proud parents did talk about him. "He's doing very well. He's with granny at the moment," Kate said, referring to her mother. "He's sleeping well but I know these things change at a minute's notice."
When a baby in the crowd cried, William joked, "We're hearing a bit of that at the moment." A woman handed him a bag of wet wipes, and he added, "We are getting through a lot of these I can tell you. But we could always do with some more." A source tells the Mail, "Initially the Duchess wasn't going to attend but she was also keen for the chance to thank the people of Anglesey [where she and William live] herself for the warmth and hospitality they have shown her and the Duke."
