Don't count on leaving this world in a bizarre hot tub incident. According to the CDC, your death is much more likely to be, well, boring. Live Science rounds up the top 10 leading causes of the death in the US, based on the most recent stats from 2013:

  1. Heart disease
  2. Cancer
  3. Chronic lower respiratory diseases
  4. Accidents (like car accidents and falls)
  5. Stroke
  6. Alzheimer's
  7. Diabetes
  8. Influenza and pneumonia
  9. Kidney disorders
  10. Suicide
