With Mother's Day upon us, WalletHub has looked at data to determine the best and worst states for working moms. Factors include gender pay gaps, the availability of child care, parental leave policies, and the number of women in executive positions. Here are the 10 with the best scores out of 100:

  1. Vermont 65.45
  2. Minnesota 61.92
  3. New Jersey 61.00
  4. Delaware 59.77
  5. Connecticut 59.68
  6. Massachusetts 58.70
  7. Maine 55.37
  8. Rhode Island 55.08
  9. New York 54.79
  10. Illinois 54.14

And the 10 states with the worst scores (the survey includes the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia):

  1. Wyoming 39.31
  2. West Virginia 38.00
  3. New Mexico 37.80
  4. Idaho 36.89
