The former doorman who claimed President Trump had an illegitimate child with a housekeeper is now legally allowed to talk about it, CNN reports. AMI, the National Enquirer's parent company, has relieved Dino Sajudin from a so-called "catch-and-kill" contract that gave him $30,000 but threatened a $1 million fine if he told the story. After the New Yorker and the AP broke the story in April, CNN reported that the ex-Trump World Tower doorman explained what he's not supposed to reveal: "I can confirm that while working at Trump World Tower I was instructed not to criticize President Trump's former housekeeper due to a prior relationship she had with President Trump which produced a child," Sajudin said.

Now Sajudin's attorney says that after talks with AMI, which is owned by David Pecker, the former doorman no longer needs to abide by the contract. So what does the November 2015 contract say? Read it here, but a key phrase is: "Source shall provide AMI with information regarding Donald Trump's illegitimate child..." The contract adds that Sajudin will only be paid if the story is published, but an amendment on the third page says he'll get $30,000 regardless. And he can now tell all: "Just recently, AMI released Mr. Sajudin from the terms of his agreement and he is now able to speak about his personal experience with them, as well as his story..." Sajudin's attorney says. "Mr. Sajudin hopes the truth will come out in the very near future."
