Lyric McHenry was found dead hours after celebrating her 26th birthday in Manhattan, and what killed her has now been revealed. E! News cites an affidavit it obtained that says McHenry—known for appearing on EJ Johnson's reality series EJNYC—died from a fatal overdose of cocaine, heroin, and alcohol. Her movie director/producer father in September suggested the cocaine found next to his daughter could have been planted, with the scene intentionally staged by someone who left her there. He may be half right: The affidavit also reveals Alexis Mejia-Ramirez has been charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence.

Per the document, Mejia-Ramirez and "two other male individuals" allegedly moved McHenry's body above the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx neighborhood, something police say they determined via "video surveillance from different locations, review of phone records, and interviews with witnesses." The New York Post reports Mejia-Ramirez was charged on Oct. 15 but his arrest was not publicized. He has been out on $1,500 bail since Friday and has a Wednesday court appearance. (Her family argues McHenry, a Stanford graduate, shouldn't be labeled a reality star.)
