You order a TV on Amazon. The shipping company sends an extra one by mistake. What would you do? When this happened to a Massachusetts man, he allegedly mounted the extra TV on his wall, and he's now facing criminal charges, reports WCVB. Nicholas Memmo tells Boston 25 News that he paid for a 74-inch TV, but a third-party shipping company sent him that one, plus an 86-inch TV. “I looked into all the laws and said, ‘You know, it’s a scratch ticket. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.'" The bigger TV went up on the wall, and soon the police were involved.

"The delivery service contacted police after several unsuccessful attempts to recover the television," says a statement from the Freetown Police Department. Police then visited Memmo's house but say he was uncooperative. "I answered a lot of questions with 'I don’t know' just so I didn’t jeopardize myself," Memmo tells Boston 25. Officers returned with a search warrant, confiscated the extra TV, and charged Memmo with larceny and misleading a police officer. (More weird crimes stories.)
