A hearing in the gun-possession case against New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress was postponed today, ESPN reports. The next court date is set for June 15, but his lawyer says talks are under way about a plea bargain. More gossip:

  • Think about this the next time you want to shake a celeb’s hand: Alex Rodriguez doesn’t wash his after using the restroom … or at least he didn’t this weekend in Aspen, a source tells the New York Post.

  • An Idaho ski lodge co-owned by Bruce Willis burned down early yesterday morning, the AP reports. No one was injured in the Soldier Mountain Ski Resort blaze.
  • A cosmetologist and stylist who worked on Queen Latifah’s Cover Girl campaign filed separate lawsuits against the star for breach of contract, the New York Daily News reports. The pair, who also worked on Queen Latifah’s line of intimate apparel, claim to be owed $1 million total.
  • Also from the Daily News: Michael Phelps and Muhammad Ali formed a mutual admiration society when they met backstage at Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night.
