If a special prosecutor does decide to bring charges against George Zimmerman, he'll turn himself in, his lawyer promised today. Zimmerman is currently in hiding thanks to the controversy surrounding his killing of Trayvon Martin, but "he's not hiding from the authorities," Craig Sonner said today. If police need to contact Zimmerman, they can do so through Sonner. "If he is asked, he will turn himself in. There's not going to be a manhunt or anything like that."

Special prosecutor Angela Corey says she'll announce soon whether she intends to charge Zimmerman. Corey took over the investigation after the state attorney removed himself from the case "with the intent of toning down the rhetoric." Sonner says he's preparing to defend Zimmerman under the assumption he will be charged, Reuters reports. (More Craig Sonner stories.)
