A bear who made his name by showing up on campus at the University of Colorado—where he relaxed in a tree before being tranquilized and tumbling into photographic infamy—has been killed by a car on US 36, the AP reports. Officials know it was the same bear because of a tag placed on his ear following the college incident, after which he had been relocated to a wilderness area about 50 miles west of Boulder.
