'Babe' Lawyers Forced to Ditch Bras in Jail Screens
If someone sets off a metal detector, they can't enter the prison, spokesmen insist.   (?AZAdam)

Female attorneys became suspicious when their bras—particularly those worn by young, attractive women—suddenly set off metal alarms at a Belgian prison and had to be removed. Now they're angry. "Metal detection checks seem very difficult to carry out when a pretty, young lawyer or visitor reports to the prison gate. And then it becomes a little something to amuse the guards," said a representative for a barristers organization. "The younger, the more babe-like, a lawyer is, the more difficult the device becomes."

He has received complaints from furious attorneys and is now insisting guards wear nametags so the worst "offenders" can be reported, notes the Telegraph. The government official in charge of prisons called the concerns "far fetched." Recent tests of the metal detectors showed they "functioned perfectly," he insisted. "I've visited the prison several times with female colleagues and none of them was asked to loosen her bra." (More bra stories.)
