Newborn Found in Airplane Trash
Investigators are searching for the passenger who gave birth during the flight.   (?Sikachu!)

A newborn baby is doing well after he was found in the trash aboard a Gulf Air flight from Bahrain to Manila. "After he was cleaned, he let out a soft cry," said an airport nurse who checked out the infant. "He was healthy, his vital signs were OK." Security officials believe his mother gave birth to him in the airplane bathroom before disposing of him, reports the New York Daily News.

The baby will be put up for adoption unless investigators can determine the identity of his mother or relatives. Earlier this summer a young mother gave birth in the bathroom of a Turkmenistan Airlines flight and tried to flush the infant down the toilet. (More Manila stories.)
