The NFL has launched an investigation into treatment of a pretty TV reporter from Mexico who became the target of catcalls and footballs hurled at her during Jets practice while she was working on a story about quarterback Mark Sanchez. Team general manager Mike Tannebaum was meeting with a representative of the Association for Women in Sports Media to arrange sensitivity training sessions for the New York team after the incident involving Ines Sainz of Azteca TV.

Owner Woody Johnson spoke to Sainz yesterday and stressed that he expects the Jets to "conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times," said a team statement. The women's association said team managers were "responsive" to concerns about the incident, reports AP. "We are awaiting the results of the investigation, and further action from the NFL and Jets," the statement added.
