With two early goals last night, Olli Jokinen earned the title of all-time points and goals leader for the Florida Panthers en route to handing the Flyers a 4-3 defeat. The loss ended Philly's five-game winning streak as the team began an eight-game road trip. The Flyers also lost wing Simone Gagne to dizziness after a first shift hit. Both of Jokinen's records were previously owned by Scott Mellanby.

"Jokinen [had] the puck way too much. The big focus going in was defending really hard one-on-one, and I didn't think we did a very good job there," said Flyers coach John Stevens after the game. "The puck wasn't sticking to me the way it had been. It was bouncing in areas I didn't want it to bounce," said Flyers goalie Martin Biron. (More Florida Panthers stories.)
