Bill O'Reilly Defends Explosive View Comments

Bill O’Reilly defended the statements he made on The View that caused Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg to walk out on yesterday's interview, explaining that he shouldn’t have to specify that Muslim extremists attacked us on 9/11. After all, he asked, "were we attacked by ‘Japanese extremists’" during World War II? Americans, he thinks, know the difference between terrorists and "peace-abiding Muslims."

“No one I know, no one, wants to insult Muslims,” he continued. “But almost everybody I know is tired of the political correctness surrounding the 9/11 attack. The truth is that if moderate Muslims all over the world would stand with America against radical Islam, the terrorists couldn’t exist.
