Details of 'Rally to Restore Sanity' Leak

Good news for Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert: They finally have a permit for their Rally to Restore Sanity/March to Keep Fear Alive! The bad news: The National Parks service released the itinerary for the event, something Comedy Central has taken pains not to reveal. The whole thing is over at Aol News, but here are the highlights:

  • 10:00-12:57—Various warm-up acts.
  • 12:57—Festivities get under way with a pre-taped introduction from Stewart/Colbert
  • 1:05—Stewart welcomes the crowd
  • 1:20—Colbert makes his entrance, along with Sam Waterston and Don Novello
  • 1:40—Jeff Tweedy and Mavis Staples perform
  • 2:15—Sheryl Crow performs
  • 2:40—The show closes with a pre-taped Sanity and Fear awards segment
