Child-Mom Not 10, Argue Neighbors

Somehow, "15-year-old gives birth to baby!" just doesn't have the same ring to it—but that may be closer to the truth, at least according to former neighbors of the supposedly 10-year-old girl who gave birth last week in Spain. The AP met with a group of them today outside the four-story Bucharest apartment building where the girl spent her early years, and they were not a happy bunch, calling the claims about her age "lies."

Several said they believed she was between 13 and 15 years old; another said he remembered when the girl's mother moved to Spain with her daughter in the 1990s in search of a better life. Click here for more.
