A Miami-based cruise line has canceled shore excursions in St. Kitts indefinitely after a busload of passengers was robbed at gunpoint on the Caribbean island. Masked gunmen dragged a tree across a road to force the bus to stop, ABC News reports. None of the 17 passengers was injured, but the gunmen escaped with cameras, jewelry, and money.

Celebrity Cruises officials say they are working closely with law enforcement on the island to ensure the safety of passengers, and extra police will be posted on the road where the robbery took police. "We deeply regret any type of incident that might tarnish our visitors' experience. As law enforcement authorities, we are committed to root out and expose the persons responsible," said a police statement, stressing that over half a million people safely visited the island last year.
