Now that you can get porn for free on your computer, Playboy TV is struggling to convince men to pay $15 a month for its soft-core offerings—some of which are even softer than HBO shows. Enter its new strategy: Market to the female audience. How? By adding a block of shows called "TV for 2," mostly reality-type shows that will still feature erotic content, but in a more contextualized and less raunchy fashion and with higher production values—which, studies show, is what most women want from their porn.

Brooklyn Kinda Love will follow four real couples; another show will feature couples getting relationship advice. Four more new shows will follow by the end of 2011. All will be sexual, but won't necessarily look like traditional porn, and will focus more on intimacy. "This is a major movement away from the type of adult fare that you can easily find on the Web," an exec tells the New York Times. "Guys will always be satisfied with Playboy, but I’m pretty sure a lot of guys would rather be watching with their partner by their side.” Love Playboy?
