The woman who became a symbol of voter dissatisfaction after telling President Obama she was "exhausted" from defending his policies has now got even more reason to be dissatisfied. Velma Hart, who told the president she was worried about her financial future, has lost her job as chief financial officer for a nonprofit Maryland-based veterans services organization, the AP reports.

"It's not anything she did," the national executive director of Am Vets tells the Washington Post. "She got bit by the same snake that has bit a lot of people. It was a move to cut our bottom line." Hart, the mother of two teenage daughters, says unemployment is a "scary proposition," but she's trying to stay positive—and she still supports Obama. "I want to focus on the positive and be optimistic," she tells CNBC. "And assume that somehow things will work out, that there's an opportunity out there with Velma's name on it that's right around the corner." (More Velma Hart stories.)
