It's not easy fighting baddies. WikiLeaks got kicked off servers it was renting from Amazon today and had to move its URL to a Swedish hosting company, reports ComputerWorld. The move came complete with huffy tweets: "WikiLeaks servers at Amazon ousted. Free speech the land of the free--fine our $ are now spent to employ people in Europe." And: "If Amazon are so uncomfortable with the first amendment, they should get out of the business of selling books."

Amazon began taking heat when news broke that it was renting to WikiLeaks, and none other than Joe Lieberman got on the case, notes AP. "This morning Amazon informed my staff that it has ceased to host the Wikileaks website," he said in a statement. "I wish that Amazon had taken this action earlier." The US company made no public comment.
