Maybe Sarah Palin's Alaska is getting a tad too brisk this December, because Bristol Palin is taking her dancing shoes and heading to snowbird central, reports the Arizona Republic. The ex-governor's eldest daughter has bought a 5-bedroom house in Maricopa, plunking down $172,000 in cash. The house mirrors the Arizona real estate market, notes the paper: Built and sold for $329,560 in 2006, it entered foreclosure in January and was bought by investors for $137,200.
"I'm not sure why she wanted to buy that home, but we are real happy for her," says the flipper who sold Palin the house. "She seems like a nice girl. We're excited for her." (More Bristol Palin stories.)
