One of George Bush's twin daughters has added her voice to calls to legalize gay marriage in New York, Politico reports. "I’m Barbara Bush and I’m a New Yorker for marriage equality,” says the former first daughter, 29, in an ad for a gay rights advocacy group. “New York is about fairness and equality. And everyone should have the right to marry the person that they love.”

Other prominent New Yorkers, including Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., have also appeared in videos for the group. Bush, a Yale graduate, lives in New York City, has worked with AIDS patients in Africa and is president of a public health nonprofit group. Her mother, Laura, came out in support of gay marriage in an interview last year.
