Nobody tell the terrorists: The US shares a 4,000-mile border with Canada, and 3,968 of those miles don't meet an "acceptable level" of security, says a new federal audit. Border Patrol "does not have the ability to detect illegal activity across most of the northern border," say the auditors, according to the Buffalo News.
The report doesn't specify which 32 miles are safe, notes the News. "But if you're a terrorist, there's a pretty good chance that wherever you decide to cross is not one of the secure areas," adds New York magazine's Daily Intel. "About a 99.9% chance, actually."
