Robert Cook has been to the Super Bowl so many times that he’s in a club: the “Never Missed a Super Bowl” club, famously featured in Visa ads. But the 79-year-old Wisconsin man was hospitalized Thursday and will have to miss the big game for the first time since 1967. “We were packed and ready to go” when her husband got weak, his wife tells the AP, adding that he's especially depressed because his team, the Green Bay Packers, is playing this year.

"To have the Packers go to the Super Bowl, we were just over the moon about it," she says. Their two daughters will attend the game instead, accompanied by a large photo of their dad on a stick.
