Teachers, watch those personal blogs.   (Shutter Stock)

Today's lesson in what not to post on the Internet: A Philadelphia high school teacher is suspended and might lose her job after blogging about how lousy her students are, reports phillyBurbs.com. Sample: "They are rude, disengaged, lazy whiners. They curse, discuss drugs, talk back, argue for grades, complain about everything, fancy themselves entitled to whatever they desire and are just generally annoying.”

In other posts, she complains about what a waste of time it is—not to mention "a complete pain in the ass"—to come up with comments for report cards and admits to working on the personal blog while at work, a district no-no. The now-deleted blog was up for more than a year before students and parents noticed it this week. One commenter wrote on it: "Joke's on you because this link is being cycled throughout the students of CB East via facebook. Have fun applying for unemployment."
