Kate Middleton's Weight, Not Surprisingly, Is Now a Topic of Discussion

Well, you had to know this was coming, and here it is: the inevitable debate over Kate Middleton’s weight. Specifically: Has she lost too much of it? Middleton visited Northern Ireland this week, and her appearance during the visit became a hot topic among the crowd of well-wishers … and, later, on Twitter. One woman in attendance even reportedly told Middleton she shouldn’t lose any more weight, to which Middleton reportedly responded that the weight loss is part of her wedding plan.

Amusingly, the AP apparently asked the palace about Middleton’s weight loss plan; not surprisingly, officials wouldn’t comment, nor would they share her height or weight. (One press aide, who asked to remain anonymous, did go so far as to call Middleton’s response to the woman in Ireland "off-the-cuff.") On Twitter, more people, ahem, weighed in and agreed that Middleton is looking a little too skinny. And at least one nutritionist says the future princess is already “on the very slim end of what would be considered healthy. She's not in the danger zone, I don't think … but she doesn't have any weight to lose.” (Click to read about how Kate "saved" William.)
