Forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi took James Foley, Clare Morgana Gillis, and photographers Manu Brabo of Spain and Anton Hammerl of South Africa prisoner Tuesday afternoon on the outskirts of Brega, according to Human Rights Watch. As of last night, Libyan government sources said the journalists had been located and were heading to Tripoli, where they would be released. A New York Times reporter was among the first to learn of the situation; eyewitnesses told him the journalists were on "a lonely stretch of road in a no-man’s land between the forces" and were stopped when the area came under fire.
