Drive-thru fast food makes sense, but drive-thru funerals? The Week rounds up five of the weirdest drive-thru options found around America:

  • Funerals: The owner of a mortuary in Compton, Calif., explains: "You can come by after work, you don't need to deal with parking, you can sign the book outside, and the family knows that you paid your respects. It's a convenience thing."

  • Strip clubs: Tragically, Pennsylvania's Climax Gentlemen's Club has been closed since 2009, but motorists used to be able to ogle strippers through a diamond-shaped window from the safety of their cars, all for just $10.
  • Alcohol: So drunk driving is illegalm but in states like Louisiana and Texas you can still frequent a drive-thru frozen daiquiri joint—and apparently it's legal as long as the servers hand you a cup with tape over the straw hole, and give you the straw separately.
