80 Killed in Pakistan Blasts

At least 80 people were killed in twin blasts at a paramilitary training center in northwestern Pakistan. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying they were carried out to avenge the death of Osama Bin Laden, reports the BBC. Suicide bombers struck as recruits were climbing aboard buses for trips home during a break at the end of their training. "I was sitting in a van waiting for my colleagues. We were happy we were going to see our families," said a wounded recruit. "I heard someone shouting 'Allahu Akbar,' and then I heard a huge blast. I was hit by something in my back shoulder."
