Hacked PBS: Tupac's Alive
The hacker LulzSec allegedly was behind a fake Tupac story that appeared on PBS NewsHour's website last night.   (Screengrab from PBS NewsHour)

Famed rapper Tupac Shakur is alive and well and living in New Zealand, 15 years after his "death," reported PBS's NewsHour online for a few hours last night. But that's because the broadcaster's website was hacked by LulzSec, and the fake story was inserted into the site, reports the Huffington Post. The small New Zealand "town—unnamed due to security risks—allegedly housed Tupac and Biggie Smalls for several years," read the fake report. LulzSec was reportedly upset at NewsHour for a critical report on WikiLeaks, according to Boing Boing.
