Twitter 'Hacking' Continues, Target: Ohio House Speaker

Ohio House Speaker William Batchelder didn't even know he had a Twitter account. So imagine the Republican's surprise when he learned it was hacked ... by a liberal. The hijacked Twitter account—which had been run by caucus staffers as a way to get out messages—started broadcasting critical tweets about GOP Gov. John Kasich and promoting former Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland, reports the Columbus Dispatch. A GOP attorney had Twitter eliminate the tweets, notes the AP.

Humorous side note: The paper notes that the 68-year-old is no tech whiz. In the past, he has referred to laptops that sat on members' desks as "little televisions." And here's Batchelder's statement on the mess: "Well, I won't do any more of this ... Twittering? We'll avoid that at all cost. I didn't know I had such a device."
