Herman Cain today drew another line in the sand against Muslims, telling Fox News Sunday that American communities should be able to ban mosques from being built. "Islam combines church and state," he said. "They're using the church part of our First Amendment to infuse their morals in that community, and the people of that community do not like it," adding that communities "have a right to" ban mosques.

Cain denies he's discriminating, though Politico notes that he's taken some heat in the past for saying having a Muslim in his Cabinet would make him uncomfortable. "I'm willing to take a harder look at people that might be terrorists," Cain said. "If you look at my career, I have never discriminated against anybody. I'm going to err on the side of caution."
