Investigators probing the death of 11-year-old Celina Cass have seized a pickup truck belonging to the girl's stepfather. Authorities, who have cordoned off the family's New Hampshire home, have labeled the girl's death suspicious, AP reports. Celina's body was pulled from a river earlier this week, and police have already seized a vehicle belonging to another man who had moved in with the family. Celina was last seen sitting at a computer in her bedroom, and there were no signs of a break-in, investigators said.
Wendell Noyes, the girl's stepfather, has been involuntarily committed for paranoid schizophrenia in the past and was arrested in 2003 for breaking into an ex-girlfriend's home and threatening her. Celina's grandfather says "rumors and speculation" abound but he is confident that investigators will get to the bottom of how his granddaughter died. “I just hope justice is brought and whoever’s responsible gets the max because that little girl didn’t deserve that,” he told the Boston Herald. “I don’t want no Casey Anthony."
