(Newser) – Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s accuser lied to prosecutors again and again, they allege in a court document full of what two sources to the New York Post call “bombshells.” The document calls for the case against Strauss-Kahn to be dismissed on grounds that Nafissatou Diallo—the alleged assault’s only witness—is not credible, meaning there is no way the charges can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. The document, which was filed this afternoon, says Diallo lied about having had consensual sex the night before the alleged attack, which the sources note would explain the redness that her lawyers used as evidence of DSK’s alleged attack.

The document further accuses Diallo of lying about bank deposits and about a recording of her discussing a big payout from Strauss-Kahn, the Post notes. Diallo's lawyer is expected today to ask that a special prosecutor take over, though reports have already suggested that the case could be dropped this week.
