Before her disappearance, Stacy Peterson revealed to three people, including a clergyman, that her husband had bragged of killing his ex-wife and making it look like an accident, a source tells the Chicago Sun-Times. Stacy also reportedly told her husband on the day she disappeared that she was going to begin divorce proceedings—and wanted him out of the house, the source tells the Sun-Times. Peterson spoke to a stepbrother that evening about “how to dispose of the problem” he was having with his 23-year-old wife, the source says—only hours before asking that same stepbrother to help him carry a large, sealed container that felt "warm" to his car.
