One of indie rock's biggest couples is splitting up after 27 years of marriage. Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore, who have formed the core of Sonic Youth for more than 30 years, announced they have separated, reports the Hollywood Reporter. The couple says the band will continue with its November tour of South America, but has no plans for after that. They have a daughter, Coco, born in 1994. (More Sonic Youth stories.)
