Mariah Carey introduced the world to her new family last night and admitted it was "really tough" to endure a miscarriage before she became pregnant with her twins, ABC News reports. “The main thing I did that was tough, was to go on progesterone like every month… and then when I was pregnant, I had to stay with the progesterone for 10 weeks,” she told Barbara Walters on "20/20." Moroccan and Monroe both seemed happy and healthy at 6 months of age; see the full video in the grid.
Carey says she used acupuncture to keep calm after learning she was pregnant with twins at the age of 40. She also dished on hubby Nick Cannon, whom she married only weeks into their relationship. "When he's nice, he's the best guy in the world," she said. In his turn, Cannon criticized society for putting too much stock in, ahem, entertainers, and hoped his kids would see beyond that: "I want them like ... 'Go get a Ph.D,'" he said.
