They may be in their 60s now, but Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne are together again and working on a new album and tour for 2012, reports E! Online. Band members made their big announcement at Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood, saying they were going to record their first album together since 1978, with famed producer Rick Rubin.
Starting at England's Download Festival in June, Black Sabbath will go on a world tour with its original lineup. The band has made several abortive attempts to get back together over the years, but insist that this time, the comeback is for real. "They are the Beatles of heavy metal," the editor of Kerrang! magazine tells the Guardian. "It all starts with Black Sabbath." (More Black Sabbath stories.)
