Celebrity / Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt 'Weird' Angie Saves Kids' Band-Aids And more from a supposed 'old friend' By Evann Gastaldo, Newser Staff Posted Nov 22, 2011 10:13 AM CST Copied American actress Angelina Jolie, left, and her adopted son Pax Thien get on a minivan to leave a Vietnamese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, after lunch on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. (AP Photo/Na Son Nguyen) Angelina Jolie went from wearing a vial of blood and kissing her brother on the lips to settling down and raising six kids. But “in the end, she just can’t hide the crazy,” an old friend and assistant tells In Touch. “She has a crazy side to her that’s beyond just being quirky.” Specifically, she still has a thing for blood—and when her kids get hurt, “she saves their discarded bandages in a large jar,” the insider says. “She thinks she’s being edgy and artistic, but to others, she just seems weird.” The next quote, however, throws some suspicion on the source: “She locks herself in the basement every day and exercises for hours.” Us has slightly more heartwarming news on the Jolie-Pitt family. During son Pax’s first return visit to Vietnam since his 2007 adoption, the 8-year-old was able to spend time with his biological grandmother. “Nhan was looking forward to it after Pax had lived so many years abroad,” an insider says.
