Ron Paul got a little feisty on Jay Leno's show last night, with one line in particular drawing a lot of attention today. Asked to critique Michele Bachmann, he said that she "hates Muslims" and "wants to go get them." He apparently made the comment in reference to her willingness to attack Iran, explains ABC News. Paul, however, had nice things to say about Jon Huntsman, notes the Daily Caller: "He's good person, and he’s a good diplomat. He knows what diplomacy is all about. And he’s a thoughtful person.”

But he thought Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich should go back to their old political jobs instead of running for president. And as for Rick Santorum: He only wants to talk about "gay people and Muslims." Paul was on the show for a while, and most of the discussion centered on his libertarian views, not his rivals. He also got a standing ovation from the young crowd, notes ABC. (More Ron Paul 2012 stories.)
