Arrest Warrant Issued for Faulty Breast Implant Boss

Interpol has issued an arrest warrant for the head of a French company that used industrial grade silicone in potentially dangerous breast implants for some 30,000 women. Jean-Claude Mas, 72, is wanted by Costa Rican authorities for crimes involving "life and health," and was last seen in a Latin American nation, reports the Telegraph. France yesterday offered to pay for 30,000 women to have their Poly Implant Protheses removed because of the danger of rupture and leakage. The French health ministry, however, has told women not to be "unduly worried," and that there's no evidence yet of a link to cancer or increased risk of rupture. Women throughout Europe and South America have received the implants, which use an unapproved non-medical grade silicone for the implants that's typically used in mattresses.
