It wasn't all rosy at today's Rose Parade, as Occupiers marched at the end of the festivities, eliciting both applause and cries of "Get a job" and "You guys had your 15 minutes." "You people are no more than communist revolutionaries who destroy our country," yelled one bystander. The protesters bore a float they dubbed the "Occupy Octopus," carried by a few dozen of them, notes the LA Times, while others carried a 250-foot preamble to the Constitution. "It's really a powerful thing to be connected to other people ... and to walk in this really popular parade," says one Occupier. The AP puts the number of protesters at about 5,000.
