The mayor of Giglio asked the divers to find the bear after seeing a letter the child's father sent to the island's residents with the request; the father said the boy had been unable to sleep without it. And find it they did, hidden amidst debris inside one of the ship's cabins, the Telegraph reports. The toy companion was returned to the boy bedraggled but otherwise unharmed.
