In her last public performance, Whitney Houston sang an impromptu tribute to young singer Kelly Price as fans went wild. Two nights later she was dead. Houston sang a few bars of "Yes, Jesus Loves Me" in a soulful, husky voice as fans screamed at a pre-Grammy party featuring Price and friends. Houston, who was at the Tru-Hollywood club with her daughter, appeared disheveled later that night, and had a cut on her wrist and what seemed to be blood on her leg, reports the New York Daily News. She reportedly clashed with former X-Factor star Stacy Francis after finding her chatting up Houston's boyfriend, Ray J.

But earlier, Price said, “Whitney partied with me, she celebrated with me. Getting her to the stage to sing something was a super plus because I didn’t expect it. We had a great time." The Los Angeles medical examiner said it will be weeks before results are obtained from toxicology tests in Houston's death, but an assistant said she was found in her hotel bathtub with water in her lungs.
