Tired of having to take off your skis, trudge inside, and peel off your snow gear just to get a tall half-caff mocha with skim milk? Well, those days are over for skiers at California's Squaw Valley resort. Now they have access to the world's first ski-thru Starbucks location, perched at an altitude of 7,900 feet, OntheSnow reports.
"We worked closely with the design team at Starbucks to create a one-of-a-kind experience that we know our guests will truly enjoy," says the resort's CEO. "Nowhere else in the world can skiers and riders enjoy a delicious Starbucks coffee without missing a beat on the slopes." Even if you're not on skis, the baristas won't turn you away, notes the Consumerist: The coffee shop also accepts walk-up customers. (More Starbucks stories.)
