The night before Whitney Houston died, Bobbi Kristina Brown asked her mother to stay with her. "I slept in her arms all day, all night long," Brown told Oprah Winfrey last night. In her first interview since Houston's death, Brown called her mother "my everything," the AP reports. "She's always with me," Brown added. "Her spirit is strong, it's a strong spirit. I feel her pass through me all the time."
"Sometimes, it's so surreal. I still walk into the house like, 'Mom?'" Brown said. "But I've accepted it," and she's now "doing as good as I possibly can," she said. "It comes in waves. One moment I can be happy and laughing, but then it comes over me." Pat Houston, Whitney Houston's manager and sister-in-law, also spoke to Oprah, recalling how she "heard screams" as she walked down the hall to Houston's room.
