Google Maps provides a vast photographic atlas of the planet, but many locales are blurred out and hidden from the public because of security concerns by the country in question. Mashable rounds up 10 such spots you are forbidden to see with clarity:
- Michael Aaf Building, Utah: The Army tests biological and chemical weapons here.
- Babylon, Iraq: The entire city is brushed out, making it appear to be farmland.
- Royal residence, Netherlands: The Dutch royal family has decreed that many of its property holdings be smudged out.
- Mysterious Russian site: A brown-green blob covers up a location in the Siberian tundra.
