Rick Santorum has been on the defensive ever since stating that President Obama would be better than Mitt Romney, the Etch a Sketch candidate. But last night he'd apparently had enough. After stating that "RomneyCare" is too similar to "ObamaCare" and makes Romney "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," reporters pressed him on the issue and Santorum got testy, Politico reports. He continued to insist his comments related only to health care, and that he would vote for the eventual GOP nominee ... ultimately telling a New York Times reporter: "Quit distorting my words. It’s bulls---."
A Romney spokesperson who witnessed the event called it "an epic temper tantrum." Meanwhile, Santorum plans to do some campaigning on the Supreme Court steps today as the justices begin hearing arguments on Obama's health care law, CNN reports. The presidential candidates currently have a break in terms of primary campaigning, since the next contests are not until April 3. (Want more Santorum? Check out his new horror film-like ad.)
